STEMOT 2018 Wettmannstätten
second edition
Below is a report from the STEMOT 2018 in Wettmannstätten (Styria), which took place from April 7th to 8th, 2018_cc781905-5cde-3194-3194-bb3b in Weststeirerhalle.cf
Last weekend the second STEMOT took place in Wettmanstetten. This time with other signs that were quite positive.. Last year the exhibition was held under the IPMS Austria, so this year the members of the model building association "Die Steirer" were the ones who were allowed to harvest the fruits of their work_cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ - and you deserve it.

The exhibition was very well organized and nothing was left to chance. Considering the size of the hall, the Styrians were able to welcome a large number of dealers and exhibitors from PL, H, SK, SL, CZ and of course Austria. One can already see that this exhibition is destined for higher things - there is still room for it. An exhibition on a smaller scale also has its appeal.

The exhibition exhibits were a colorful mix and it could turn out that we will find one of the largest exhibition areas for paper and cardboard model making in Austria in the near future. This sector was very well represented this year and many dealers and exhibitors in this sector also reflect my assumption.
​
Of course we could also marvel at a lot of plastic model making and I estimate the share between the divisions almost 50:50.
​
Unfortunately, the exhibition weekend fell victim to this because of the very good weather. After this weekend was really the first to do something outdoors, the number of visitors was limited! It's a shame but you can't do anything about it.
​
For us it was again a great event and we had a lot of fun with our friends from the model building factory in Linz/Land, who were staying in the same hotel as us.
​
We would like to thank the model building club "Die Steiere" for this weekend and wish you great success again in 2019.
